Hazira Pipe Mill Limited, a part of Essar group, is located at Hazira, Gujarat and has a combined capacity of 600,000 tonnes of Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) and Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) steel pipes along with internal and external coating facilities of up to 2 mn square meters annually. HPML’s pipe making facility is backed by external and internal anti corrosion coating facilities.

Its inception in 2008 heralds Essar’s entry into the top league of pipeline manufacturers. Strongly backed by Essar Steel, which is geared up to become the first Indian steel company to have domestic capacity of 10 mtpa at a single location, HPML is poised to become one of the single largest pipe manufacturer in the world.

With the steel pipe industry being highly raw-material intensive, HPML has a distinct advantage in terms easy access to raw material as the pipe mill is located in the Essar Steel complex. This in turn ensures a fast-delivery mechanism leading to timely execution of orders.
